Sports Industry Leader, Advisory Board Member, and Inclusion Advocate.
With a steadfast commitment to excellence, the PGA TOUR's media technology landscape has been my domain for the past 9 years. My leadership in establishing a robust in-house Project Management Office (PMO) has been pivotal, ensuring that our media teams and business units operate with unparalleled efficacy, strategic alignment, adaptability, and the highest quality. I ensure continuous improvements are made in our ways of work through process optimizations, innovative thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
As a fervent advocate for fairness, my role extends beyond project, program, and portfolio management to fostering a culture that values equity and empowerment.
I have deep interest in sports, entertainment, travel, and tourism industries
In my first job with MBNA, I was introduced to two concepts that have stuck with me. A mentor also taught me something special. These three things have become the Guiding Principles of my professional life:
Think Of Yourself As A Customer.
Think Things Through.
Learn. Teach. Grow.

Sports tech consultant Next League is hosting the second installment of its Next League University program this week, a two-day educational experience that started today designed for college students and early career professionals looking to carve out their spots in the sports industry.
This year’s cohort features 40 total participants that were either nominated by Next League partners -- such as NASCAR, PGA Tour, USOPC and TMRW Sports -- or student-related groups like the sports management program from Columbia University and the Women in Sports Tech program. Next League debuted the program last year. This year’s cohort features an even split of male and female professionals, with 55% of participants coming from BIPOC communities.
The speaker list includes Doug Perlman (CEO of Sports Media Advisors), Nicole Jeter West (former CEO of Underdog Venture Team and Legends exec.), Lauren Dwyer (senior director, growth and innovation for the WNBA), Jack Ostler (VP of product technology at Overtime) and Devon Fox (PGA Tour senior director of media PMO and QA). Next League University will take place at the company’s N.Y. office.
Next League was the presenting sponsor of SBJ Tech Week in March.

Devon Fox is an award-winning leader in emerging sports technology. Before joining the PGA TOUR to lead their digital innovation efforts, she spent time with Nike and NASCAR. She has earned a degree in Information Sciences, an MBA, and PMP. Devon draws on her experience in roller derby to talk about bi-lateral stimulation as a means to heal.
This is the second talk in a series of five talks from Resonance 2023. For more information visit resonance-loughderg.com.
Public Speaking has always been a phobia of mine. Almost debilitating. I’ve done dozens of online webinars, some panel discussions at conferences like SXSW and AWE, and tons of presentations for school and work but I’ve never done a talk like this.
At Resonance-loughderg I talked about myself, mental health, healing, sports, and how showing up as a healed person at work benefits the culture and my direct reports. I was vulnerable and the closest to my authentic self I can be on a stage living in my phobia. I want to thank Emily Ross for pushing me way outside my comfort zone. She’s an absolute force of nature and is someone I aspire to be like.
The video doesn’t do a great job of representing the energy in the room. It was a calm electric buzzy current through the room with a deep resonating desire and thirst to learn and hear deeply personal stories from the festival speakers. It was beautiful and I wish you could have been there.

Fanatics obsess over every detail and sports fans are some of the biggest diehards out there. Bringing print media and apps into the new digital age is essential to building strong relationships with new and returning fans, but it is no easy feat. Major players like Sports Illustrated and the NBA are utilizing augmented reality to add a more personal layer to the fan experience. With mixed reality (MR) specialist Trigger, companies are fundamentally altering what it means to be a fan. New technology allows fans to get even closer to the action than ever before and go from watching on the sidelines to sharing their passion for their favorite franchises in highly social and personal ways.
