Biography

Nora Osman is a magnetic keynote speaker, leadership advisor, and former technology executive with more than 25 years of experience across healthcare, financial services, education, and hospitality. Her work sits at the intersection of human experience (HX), employee experience (EX), and customer experience (CX), helping organizations identify and fix breakdowns between people, process, and technology that undermine trust, performance, and service outcomes.

As the founder and CEO of Norvana, Nora works hands-on with leaders and teams to strengthen service delivery, operating workflows, and experience design. She is the author of Zero to Hero: The Human Experience in Leadership and Business Transformation and a Fellow at the Institute for Digital Transformation. Known for her clarity and engaging, story-driven style, Nora translates complex organizational and technical challenges into practical insight drawn from real operating environments. She is a sought-after speaker for technology, customer experience, and leadership audiences.

Passion

Nora Osman is driven by a deep passion for helping organizations turn intention into impact. She believes that real progress comes from improving how people experience the organization in the moments where decisions are made, work gets done, and service is delivered. For Nora, meaningful change is not abstract. It is practical, human, and visible in everyday interactions.

Her approach is rooted in design and creativity, using thoughtful experience design, storytelling, and systems thinking to reimagine how people, teams, and customers engage with the business. With a human-centric lens, she champions environments that balance empathy with clarity and creativity with accountability. Nora is especially motivated to help leaders design cultures and operating environments that enable people to do their best work and deliver experiences that feel intentional, effective, and meaningful.

Best Story

As a child, Nora Osman once sat in a group where she was being instructed to paint. Everyone was looking at the same subject, a tree, and receiving the same guidance. What stayed with Nora was how different the results were. Some people painted what they believed a tree was supposed to look like. Others painted what they actually saw. And a few noticed details most of the group missed entirely.

That early experience taught Nora something she still relies on today: seeing is a skill. Vision is not just eyesight. It is the ability to look beyond what is obvious and notice what is really happening beneath the surface. Learning to see like an artist, recognizing shape, contrast, relationship, and possibility, became foundational to how she thinks and works.

That lesson now shapes Nora’s approach to leadership and transformation. In organizations, people often rush to tools and solutions before truly understanding the experience they are trying to fix. By applying a creative, design-oriented lens, Nora helps leaders see what customers and employees are actually experiencing and design solutions that work because they are grounded in human reality, not assumptions.

This way of seeing sits at the heart of Nora’s work today.

Origin Story

Nora Osman’s journey to founding Norvana began with a deep-seated passion for innovation and transformation. Throughout her career, Nora consistently found herself at the crossroads of challenge and opportunity. Whether navigating the complexities of leadership in fast-paced environments or guiding teams through periods of intense change, her approach was always rooted in a belief in the power of people and the importance of creating meaningful impact.

A defining turning point came after a life-altering car accident that occurred on what was meant to be a day of celebration. The experience tested Nora’s resilience and prompted a deeper reflection on purpose, leadership, and how people experience moments of disruption and change. During her recovery, she began to articulate patterns she had observed throughout her career about human behavior, leadership, and transformation.

That reflection ultimately led to the creation of Norvana, a company dedicated to improving service management and customer experience through a human-centric lens. Over time, Nora’s thinking was further shaped into frameworks she now shares through speaking, writing, and teaching, including her book Zero to Hero: The Human Experience in Leadership and Business Transformation and her executive education work.

Today, Norvana stands as a reflection of Nora’s belief that transformation is most effective when it is intentional, human, and designed with care. Through her work, she continues to help leaders create environments where people can navigate change with clarity, creativity, and purpose.
