She has over 30 years of experience in corporate, government, nonprofit, education and international work, having worked in over 15 countries. Marisa provides dynamic keynote presentations and innovative programs designed to empower individuals and teams to become agents of change to achieve their greatest potential.
She is a highly successful entrepreneur, has a BA in Communications, a Master’s in Education and is a certified Gallup StrengthsFinder Coach, certified in Diversity, equity, and inclusion, minority and women owned business, and a column writer for Latina Style Magazine.
She is the recipient of many awards including, The 21 Leaders for the 21st Century by Women’s eNews, the Entrepreneur of the year Award by Latina Style Magazine and the Cesar Chavez Community Service Award by the US Hispanic Leadership Institute. She is highly effective presenting in person or virtually and in English and Spanish. She enjoys bike riding, scuba diving and volunteering in her free time. She is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and lives in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

Growing up in a large family of five brothers, I was forced to develop strong leadership skills early on. This formed the foundation for my life of advocacy for justice and equality. I've navigated a career marked by persistent challenges related to gender equity, access, opportunities, and fair compensation, and hope others can benefit from these same lessons.
