My passion is to empower families with a roadmap, toolkit and resources they need to build a fulfilling life for their extraordinary child. It is also part of my mission to educate communities so they better understand the value, worth and contributions of people with Down Syndrome and other disabilities in their own communities to provide an inclusive environment. And last but not least I want to share the beauty, abilities, and contributions of individuals with Down Syndrome around the world.

Everything is negotiable
I have so many stories! One of my favorites is about the day my son moved to independent living. We were saying our goodbyes when he stepped back and said to me "look mom! I have new wings." In addition to being very emotional it was his way of telling me he was ready for this new adventure and not to worry. It is a very precious moment I'll never forget.
I have been a creative my entire life. Art and crafting is something I always did with my mom. As my son was growing up people kept telling me I needed to write a book. I dismissed the idea initially and built my creative company, Linda Bonner Studios. Until I felt a God-nudge telling me it was time to write the book. I wrote the 1st draft in 8 months and continued to make updates to the content and the resource section. I know that I was meant to write this book so I could help other families on this journey of raising a child with a disability. This is my way of giving back to all those that helped and inspired me on my parenting journey.
