Dr. Jillian Bybee is a pediatric ICU physician, certified professional coach, toddler mom, and workplace wellness trainer helping high-achieving professionals create more satisfying, sustainable lives and careers. She believes that professional success shouldn’t come at the cost of your wellbeing.
After experiencing burnout firsthand, Dr. Bybee redefined her approach to living and working, shifting from pushing harder to working and living in a more sustainable way. That experience now shapes her work with individuals and organizations.
In her business, Humans Leading, she offers 1:1 coaching and workshop facilitation designed to help individuals and teams integrate simple, effective stress management into their daily lives. Her practical approach blends science-supported stress management, mindset work, and real-world strategies that fit into demanding careers and full lives.
Because the goal isn’t to do less meaningful or effective work. It’s to create a way of working and living that actually supports you.
Dr. Bybee’s signature framework, Transform Your Day, teaches practical, evidence-based strategies that create immediate relief and lasting change, making it a sought-after experience for organizations looking to support their high-performing teams.
I work with individual women and teams looking to build sustainable success and satisfying lives through 1:1 and group coaching, workshop facilitation, keynote speaking, and team building. My practical approach blends science-supported stress management, mindset work, and real-world strategies that fit into demanding careers and full lives.
As a physician, toddler mom, leader, coach, and creative, I juggle a lot of priorities from day-to-day. My innovative approach to stress management, 'Active Stress Management,' allows me to navigate even the most difficult of times, including returning to work in the hospital just 7 days after my father died unexpectedly.
My journey into wellness leadership and speaking began with my own personal experience with recovery from depression and burnout as a fellow in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. After leaving my training hospital to go on to my first job out of training, I thought burnout was behind me. But the mindsets, lack of boundaries, and poor self-care practices that I had learned in fellowship training came with me, and I found myself burned out again only 2.5 years into my career. My recovery from this episode of burnout launched my career as a coach, wellness trainer, and speaker.
This process of recovery reshaped my understanding of what it means to thrive in a high-pressure career and in my life. What started as building a wellness curriculum for my own organization has evolved into a nationally recognized expertise, particularly as the need for burnout prevention and recovery has intensified since the pandemic.
In my signature workshop, I share practical tools to help busy professional women reduce stress, feel more present, and create more intentional days.
Stress management is not only about having more time. Often, what makes the biggest difference is changing how you move through the hours you already have.
In this workshop participants learn:
Whether you're navigating a demanding career, caring for others, or simply feeling stretched thin, this workshop offers both practical support and a fresh perspective.
