Passion

My passion is helping women light up! Whether a woman comes to me for a photo shoot or to tell her story at one of my events, I love to see her transform from dim to bright by helping them be seen and heard with compassion. I am passionate about making HERstory!

Best Story

I often share the story of meeting the His Holiness the Dalai Lama and how it profoundly impacted me, to then adopting my third child and how he became the spiritual teacher I truly needed to awaken.

Origin Story

The idea for Born to Rise dropped into my meditation not long after presenting my Tedx talk. I was so empowered after writing and sharing my story with a live audience that I felt the call to make space for other women to have the same opportunity. I held my first event in 2019 with three storytellers and sixty women in the audience. It was powerful and I knew I was on to something. Every event since has shown me the beauty of a supportive community, the power of personal story sharing and how compassion and empathy build bridges and heal divides.
