Her diverse professional experience as a business executive, board member, and talent leader provides a unique perspective on critical issues facing leaders and teams. From Sales Manager to VP Talent Management then a career as a coach and consultant, led her to begin inspiring others from the stage.
Ranieka is passionate about helping leaders thrive during chaos and change, recognizing that turbulent times often test the very core of leadership. She believes that uncertainty can be a powerful catalyst for growth when leaders are equipped with the tools to navigate it with clarity and purpose.
At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to equity and inclusivity. Ranieka understands that underrepresented professionals often face additional barriers during times of change, struggling to have their ideas heard and their contributions valued. She works to bridge this gap by helping leaders build environments where every voice is not only welcomed but actively sought out.
More than 100 miles
I generally get paid for speaking but make exceptions
It happened one evening at a dinner with colleagues when Ranieka found myself speaking up, but her comments were completely ignored. In that moment, she realized that the person didn't need a Q-tip to clean their ears, and no she didn't need to speak louder, but she realized she had stepped into a character based on a limiting story She was telling herself—a story that she wasn't enough, that her voice didn't matter. It was a powerful wake-up call because, at that moment, she understood that we all do this. We each carry stories—stories that create characters we unconsciously play.
Ranieka’s resilience and adaptability were shaped by her upbringing across the southern, midwestern, and northeastern regions of the U.S., where each move brought new environments, cultures, and ways of thinking to navigate. This early exposure to diversity in thought and experience became the foundation of her ability to thrive in unfamiliar spaces.
Her professional journey began in the pharmaceutical industry, where she was often the only Black woman at the table. Leaning on her experiences of constant adaptation, Ranieka reframed her difference as a strength. She built relationships across divides. Her journey is not just one of personal growth but of paving the way for others, creating spaces where diversity of thought, background, and identity are not just welcomed but celebrated.
Ranieka often serves as a moderator for HR topics with Hacking HR. If you are interested in an example of Ranieka leading a great group of thought leaders in a great discussion click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGvaihz884U
