Dr. Alharthi is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of Arizona. With a rich background spanning both Eastern and Western hemispheres, including notable industry and academic roles, she brings a unique global perspective to cybersecurity, computer science, and engineering challenges. Dr. Alharthi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, along with dual Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Public Administration. Her expertise includes a wide range of skills such as Cloud Computing/Security (AWS, Azure, GCP), Containers Security, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Automation, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), and Computer Engineering.
