I am passionate about empowering women to live their fullest, most impactful lives. My journey began by watching the strength and resilience of breast cancer survivors, which inspired me to create Myya, a brand built on providing women with the dignity, comfort, and confidence they deserve. I believe in the power of innovation to reshape how we view women’s health and access to care, making sure no woman is left behind.
Beyond business, my passion lies in advocating for women's voices and championing the power of purpose-driven entrepreneurship. I’m driven to help women rise above challenges, tell their stories boldly, and take charge of their journeys—whether in health, business, or personal growth. Through speaking, mentorship, and building platforms for change, I aim to leave a legacy where every woman feels empowered to break barriers, drive social impact, and create a future that reflects their dreams.

When my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, I witnessed firsthand the emotional and physical challenges she faced as a survivor. What struck me most was the struggle to find comfortable, supportive post-mastectomy products that allowed her to reclaim her confidence. This experience ignited my passion for creating a solution for all women who were navigating similar journeys.
Years later, I founded Myya—the first online, insurance-billable post-mastectomy intimates brand—to ensure that every woman has access to personalized care, comfort, and dignity after breast cancer surgery. My goal was to make a difference for survivors like my grandmother and to transform an industry that was often overlooked. Since launching in 2021, Myya has served over 16,000 women, providing them with a fully customizable, virtual fitting experience and simplifying access to life-changing products.
This journey led me to become an advocate for women’s health, and one of the few Black women to raise over $2 million in venture funding. Along the way, I’ve used my voice to inspire others—whether on stage, through my podcast, or in the documentary "Show Her The Money"—to champion innovation, impact, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel confident and supported on her path to healing. Today, my story is about empowerment, resilience, and creating lasting change for women everywhere.
My journey began with my grandmother—a breast cancer survivor who faced not only the challenges of her diagnosis but also the struggle to find post-mastectomy products that made her feel comfortable and confident. Watching her navigate this journey left a profound impact on me and planted a seed for something greater. I knew there had to be a way to provide women like her with better, more empowering solutions.
Determined to make a difference, I dove into the world of intimates, becoming a certified mastectomy fitter and an award-winning lingerie designer at the Fashion Institute of Technology. But my real breakthrough came when I realized that thousands of women like my grandmother lacked access to personalized post-mastectomy care—and that a seamless, insurance-billable solution didn’t exist.
So, I launched Myya. My vision was to create a platform where breast cancer survivors could access fully customizable, comfortable, and supportive bras and prosthetics from the comfort of their own homes. Myya became the first online post-mastectomy intimates brand to offer a virtual fitting experience that bills insurance directly, transforming what had once been a complex and disheartening process into one of empowerment, dignity, and ease.
Since launching, Myya has touched the lives of over 16,000 women and counting. My mission is clear: to revolutionize women’s health access, build a billion-dollar brand that inspires confidence, and ensure that every woman’s story is one of hope, healing, and strength. And every step of the way, my grandmother’s story continues to fuel my passion to make a lasting impact.
A feature length documentary pulling back the curtain on the venture capital world, creating awareness about why women get less than 2% of VC funding and how we can change that situation. We are telling the incredible stories of a female fund manager, female angel investors, and the women who are the recipients of those funds- women who otherwise would not be getting funded. The film features the history of women in the angel investment and VC worlds and talks about how we can impact the future.
Produced by Catherine Gray and Ky Dickens, this film is the first to explore the new acceleration of female founded funds looking to level the playing field.
With women coming into trillions in the coming decade, having them become angel investors in these female focused funds will be a game changer.
