Passion

STEM workforce, cutting edge technology, quantum - security, satellites, banking, pharma.

Strong robust workforce! I founded a K-8 Math and Science school, strategize on bringing Veterans into new technology ecosystem areas, worked as a Senior Executive at Department of Commerce in bringing HBCUs and TCUs into the forefront, and recently spoke at the US Capitol on STEM with Director of National Science Foundation.

Fun for me is creating new ways to insert emerging technologies and opportunities for our workforce.

Best Story

1. Building a Quantum Fire! Quantum technologies enable revolutionary breakthroughs across many areas. Why should we care?

2. All we really need to know we absolutely learned in kindergarten! Why early start in STEM is important for our country and for our families!

Origin Story

Throughout my career, I’ve always been an innovator. I’m the person who can take an entrepreneurial approach to new programs, and I’ve always been inspired by what technology can do and how it can push us forward.

Emerging technology - just point me at it!

I am incredibly passionate about education. Something that still surprises me is that only about 6% of all college graduates – male or female – get a degree in engineering and only 0.7% are electrical engineers.
