Biography

Lindsay Uittenbogaard combines creative challenge with forward-thinking solutions to re-organize the way things work. Originally from the UK, she founded her first company at age 22 after graduating as a Music major and went on to lead the growth of several small businesses. Then in 2001, Lindsay transitioned to an international communication assignment in the Netherlands, which led to a progressive 15-year career in Organizational Communication Leadership across Energy, IT, and Telecoms sectors.

These experiences combined led Lindsay to see the need for a revolution in employee communications - to get away from the disengagement of 'tell and sell'. Recognizing that people construct shared meaning – as the basis of all decisions and actions - through dialogue, she led the development of Mirror Mirror as Founder and CEO, in 2016. Today the company has a sophisticated portfolio of diagnostics and frameworks used by teams and organizations around the world, and Lindsay is a thought-leader and speaker on alignment for inclusivity, engagement, risk mitigation, and effective strategy implementation.

Lindsay studied Broadcast Journalism, and International Business Communication Management at postgraduate level, she is a certified member of the IABC, the CIPD, the Reputation Institute, and is a published author in the Gower Handbook on Internal Communication.
