Passion

My passion is fixing the perfectionism problem in the workplace. As an executive leader, perfectionism held me back and once I realized that I made it my life's mission to help all leaders overcome their perfectionism and lead with excellence. I've conducted national research on the impacts of perfectionism in the workplace and here are some of the stats: 92% of people struggle with some form of perfectionism; 66% of workplaces have cultures of perfectionism; 1/3 of our workforce is thinking of leaving their organization because of perfectionism in the workplace; perfectionism impacts our productivity by 61%, our innovation by 66%, and our confidence by 62%. This is a major leadership and culture issues and I provide the insights, tools, and resources to overcome it.

Best Story

My best story is when I had the realized that I need to get sober from a 1-year addiction to Adderall, and more importantly, my addiction to perfectionism. It was my life-defining moment, and it started with the quote, "I see in you what I refuse to see in me."

Origin Story

When I wrote my memoir Addicted to Perfect in 2019 (published in 2020) I realized that I wasn't the only one struggling with perfectionism. It was then that I knew it was my purpose to fix the perfectionism problem in the workplace.
