I have so many stories that I could share given my 20+ year career in the talent management and leadership development space working across Fortune 500 companies. I could even share stories from my time working at Cisco for nearly a decade in Engineering, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Leadership Development. Storytelling is a common staple in my talks drawing from the thousands of clients I've coached to my own personal stories that have been powered by emotional intelligence skills. The stories are engaging and practically useful.

Origin Story

Growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, I didn't see any entrepreneurs who looked like me. Later in life, I was fortunate to have awesome mentors and sponsors who introduced me to the world of entrepreneurship and I haven’t looked back since that time. I'm the first entrepreneur in my family.I actually started my company while I was working at Cisco in an HR leader role. I had a deep desire and passion to coach people in advancing their careers and lives through the power of emotional intelligence. While my business initially started as a part-time side gig, I eventually left Cisco and transitioned the business to a full-time entrepreneur adventure. Starting my business was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It has allowed me to partner with clients globally to make a difference in the world. Also, I've been able to scale my work through courses, talks, workshops, webinars and my book.
