I generally get paid for speaking but make exceptions
After experiencing a business failure that left my husband and I nearly bankrupt with two toddlers depending on us to rebound,
I developed financial principles after hearing a message at church one Sunday based on Ephesians 2:10, which says we are created to live the good life!
I put these principles into action on a daily basis, and day by day, year by year, we began to change our financial position and experience the good life. I was then privileged to be able to help others learn these same principles.
In 1999 my husband and I experienced a business failure after investing all of our earned savings and over $1 million dollars that we raised from private investors. We were building a business to “live the good life” and made the sacrifices we thought were necessary. We were busy, suffered through long hours of work. We worried, stressed and lived by the adage no pain no gain!
And as we studied the ashes and began to rebuild our lives I heard a message at church that was my “Aha” moment as I realized that the good life was mine for the taking. I could experience the good life regardless of the success of a business! I was still interested in starting and building another business - because business is a passion, but I would never postpone enjoying life to build a business ever again.
