Shannon Bumgarner is a change maker inspiring transformation within organizations and with women in technical careers. As a degreed engineer with 25+ years of experience, her bold leadership has strengthened supply chain, engineering, and customer experience processes for leading industrial companies. She is a thought leader in creating inclusive workplaces and communities through the use of human centric leadership. Increasing the representation of women in STEM specifically the retention of early to mid career women. Utilizing STEM to help close the gender pay gap and more importantly the gender wealth gap.

Three "dirty little secrets" about my personality collided with my infamous ability to career pivot. In this "big bang of an upside down" , I found myself lost and completely vulnerable. And in that moment, I knew I needed to ditch everything I thought I knew about leadership. Success and joy came from one simple yet courageous place - my humanity.

The one question that completely changed the trajectory of my career. That moment when I knew I had been doing it all wrong for me. I take women to that moment and talk about how that one simple question made me see the world in a whole different light.
