Biography

Sukia Akiba is a Boston-based African American real estate developer, environmentalist, and financial literacy educator. Akiba has over a decade’s experience in the financial sector and has gained recognition for offering bespoke financial planning services to both business owners, professionals, and individuals in Boston and the surrounding areas.

Akiba is also a social activist and environmentalist who is known for her firm advocacy for women’s health. She currently serves on several advisory boards of United Children of Nigeria Inc, Eloise Hylton Inc, Green Cambridge, she is also the Governor of the U.S chapter of the National Edo Progressive Youth Association.

Akiba was born in Bessemer, Alabama. Her portfolio started when at 21 years old fresh out of school she found herself living in a rat infested one bedroom in Boston and was not happy with the conditions not to mention the amount she was paying for rent.
