Best Story

We have so many pivotal moments in our life that would make for entertaining and inspirational stories to share from the stage. When I consider the peaks and valleys, I could share my journey to become a U.S. Marine or that embarrassing time I was demoted. I could share my journey as a breast cancer survivor, my decision to quit my Ph.D. program, or what it's like going through a divorce after 25 years of marriage. These are all pivotal moments that indicate a major event in my life. Each one contains valuable lessons learned.

Origin Story

Born and raised in a challenging environment, Jennifer experienced firsthand the transformative power of resilience and self-belief. Despite facing adversity, she immersed herself in books, finding solace and inspiration within the pages. Her love for literature cultivated a deep sense of curiosity and a hunger for knowledge that would shape her future endeavors.

As a natural introvert, Jennifer understood the unique journey of navigating personal growth as someone who finds comfort in introspection. Drawing from her own experiences, she debunked the myth that introverts are limited in their ability to connect, speak their minds, and make a difference. Jennifer encourages individuals to embrace their introversion and discover their own authentic ways of impacting the world around them.

Jennifer's journey took a significant turn when she met a close friend in high school who introduced her to a vibrant community centered around a local church. This experience revealed the power of a supportive and nurturing environment, igniting her desire to create a similar sense of belonging and empowerment for others.

At the age of 18, Jennifer fearlessly stepped out of her comfort zone and joined the U.S. Marine Corps as a combat correspondent. She was the first female Marine to be appointed editor of The Quantico Sentry and the first female Marine to be awarded the Sgt. Major Dan Daly award from the Marine Corps Historical Foundation. Her time in the Corps marked the beginning of her journey as a dynamic public speaker and influencer.
