Biography

Tia Young is the Founder and CEO of Tia Young Image and Etiquette, LLC.
She has been helping her clients learn the soft skills for success through professional development and etiquette training for over 20 years.
She also enjoyed her roles as a Teacher, Modeling Coach and Ms. Mompreneur Queen.
Tia is the proud published author of "How to Navigate Premium Experiences with Confidence. Your Guide to Social Success." She is also the Host of "Normal to Formal" Podcast.
On her time off, Tia enjoys international travel, playing tennis, and spending quality time with her husband, Victor and 3 daughters.
She is excited to be a TEDx Speaker! The event took place January of 2022 in Florida.
Tia’s passion is to help others polish their social skills for success and bring back the lost art of good manners. Her goal is to speak around the world.

Best Story

I really enjoy hearing from past students and parents about how much they enjoyed my etiquette training. Many of them say their knowledge of business and dining etiquette has helped them to be more confident in any situation or setting. They shared that they were able to move up in the workplace.
I was able to use my experiences to write my first etiquette book called "How to Navigate Premium Experiences with Confidence. Your Guide to Social Success." It was a #1 New Release on Amazon.

Origin Story

I grew up with a mother that was always poised, polished and had great manners. She made people feel special and important everywhere we went. I guess it rubbed off on me as I grew up. However, I didn't see it very often in others around me, especially on the airplane.

I served as an International Flight Attendant and Trainer for 14 years after college because I wanted to see the world. I saw the good, the bad and the ugly side of passengers' behavior. I didn't feel respected at times as a hard-working employee of the airlines. I decided to leave my career in flying after the tragedies of 9/11. I started my etiquette business a year later in 2002. I wanted to help make the world a nicer place to live by teaching etiquette. I love to be around people that show respect and consideration to others.
