Joanna Dutra is the dynamic and charismatic founder of The Creative Confidant: offering creative confidence coaching, motivational speaking, and personal branding.
From blades to batteries, burgers to beer – Joanna has a solid background in advertising and product marketing for Fortune 500 companies.
After spending nearly 20 years helping build big brands like Gillette/P&G, Duracell, Stop & Shop, and Wendy’s, she decided to bring her zest for product marketing to a personal level.
As a creative confidence coach, Joanna works individually with corporate executives and private clients to set achievable action plans while refining their presentation and strategic communication skills. She gives clients tools to activate and uncover hidden talents and build their best personal brand, offering them a chance to move beyond their self-imposed limitations.
Joanna has a broad musical and theater background, plays the piano and violin, and loves to sing – all making her comfortable in front of an audience. One of her biggest thrills was doing stand-up comedy!
Joanna is also active in her community, serving on boards like the South Shore Conservatory, and running confidence workshops for adults as well as students in elementary school through university. People of all ages can harness their creativity; her passion is finding ways for them to believe in themselves.
Joanna holds a BA in English and Fine Arts from Georgetown University and an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from Boston University. She is a frequent contributor to Forbes, where her vision of the world is a source of humor and positivity.
Whether making presentations or making people laugh, Joanna believes confidence is contagious. It's just a matter of finding the right view of yourself.
