Origin Story
As an employee I had the drive, skills and the work ethic but was going nowhere. One day, after being overlooked for a promotion (again), I was told, "Kristen - you do great work but no one knows who you are."
I made the decision to change. Without realizing it I was taking action to build my personal brand. Things started happening! I was promoted into two management roles, and then was asked to be the dedicated advisor to the President of the organization. In a few years I had gone from an unknown to being hand picked by the President.
I didn't advance my education. I didn't work any harder or longer. I build a personal brand and now I teach other women to do the same.
