Origin Story

Cami Barnes is a wife, mom, ordained minister, wedding officiant, professional matchmaker, speaker, author, podcaster and leadership development coach.

She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology, at Wright State University, with a focus on I/O (Industrial & Organizational Psychology), which is the study of employee behaviors in the workplace. She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree, from St. Thomas University, focused on Human Resources Management. And she is currently a doctoral student, working towards a degree in Theology & Ministry.

Cami’s career experience that includes entrepreneurship, over a decade in human resources, as well as experience in the areas of mental health, social work and wellness, have given her a unique framework from which she strategizes for teams and companies.

As CEO of Linked 4 Love Matchmaking, she is driven by her passion for fostering genuine connections among single, marriage minded professionals.

Her book, “Securing the B.A.G. (Big Audacious Goals)” is a tool that provides practical tips and a workbook for elevating to the next level of success. And her contribution to the “Deeper Women Teach: Volume 2” book, provides the steps for leveraging your healing and self-care to reach your greatest potential.

Through her ministry platform, Power & Truth Podcast, she engages her listeners with “prayer, encouragement, kingdom entrepreneurship and real talk”.

With a heart for philanthropy and a testimony, she launched the Cami Barnes Scholarship Foundation Inc, which provides trauma survivors with funding to cover their college expenses.

Cami’s education and experience has established a solid framework for her expertise. But it’s her passion for empowerment that drives her life’s work of motivating others to live out their dreams with courage and intention.
