Passion

Choosing to break away from my career in corporate communications to co-author a novel with my dad. TINY GLIMMERS OF LIGHT was published in October, 2025 and has become an award-winning, Amazon bestseller!

Origin Story

In 2021, I was working in corporate communications - as I had been for many years - and raising my two kids when my dad approached me with a manuscript for an adventure/suspense novel he had been working on. My dad is the biggest news junkie I know, and he has always been a great storyteller. He asked if I could help with it since I have a journalism and PR/marketing background. I decided to take a break from corporate life and focus solely on the work by dad had started. That marked the start of our creative collaboration journey, which eventually turned into a published, co-authored, cross-generational debut novel called TINY GLIMMERS OF LIGHT.

The story we tell in TINY GLIMMERS OF LIGHT is of 19-year-old Goha and his family, who dwell in a slum in Karachi, Pakistan but yearn to escape poverty and live a better life. It tackles tough themes including extremism, violence and abuse, but is ultimately a story of family loyalty, forgiveness and redemption. It has received great reviews and was been recognized by several independent book awards. We recently published an Urdu version, and plan to launch the book at the Karachi Literature Festival in early 2027.
