From big-picture strategy to pixel-perfect design, Maliha Khan's marketing journey reads like a masterclass in following your creative compass. What began as a career in design has evolved into a calling: helping brands bridge the messy middle between strategy and execution.
Maliha is the Founder and CEO of Khanect the Dots (KTD), a strategy-first consultancy, and the creative force behind Khancepts Studio, its design arm. Through both, she equips organizations to move from clarity to action with a unique blend of strategic insight and creative vision. A Stevie® Award winner for the Women in AI Leadership category and nationally recognized speaker with appearances at Content Marketing World, MarketingProfs, and beyond, she's built a reputation for making marketing both practical and human-first.
She's especially passionate about the intersection of AI and marketing, and is known for sharing approachable, forward-thinking insights that help leaders think sharper, move faster, and stay authentic in the age of AI.
Big ideas, bold moves, and helping people see what’s possible. I light up when talking about practical AI, strategy, entrepreneurship, brand identity, and the messy middle between having a great idea and actually making it happen. I’m especially passionate about helping people use technology without losing the human perspective that makes their work distinctly theirs. I also love conversations about leadership, taking calculated risks, building something from scratch, and creating more opportunities for women to lead in spaces where we haven’t always been represented.
My story of audacity actually begins on the day I was born. In my family’s South Asian culture, there was a tradition: when a boy was born, sweets were handed out in celebration. When I arrived? No sweets.
I use that moment on stage to tell a much bigger story about the expectations we inherit before we’re old enough to understand them—and what happens when we decide not to let those expectations determine how big we’re allowed to dream.
It turns out the little girl who didn’t warrant the sweets would eventually become an entrepreneur, take stages around the world, and learn a thing or two about having the audacity to make her own opportunities.
I didn’t set out to become a professional speaker. I started by sharing what I knew—marketing, content, strategy, and eventually AI—with people who could put it to work.
Over time, workshops became conference sessions, conference sessions became keynotes, and the conversations got bigger. But the thing I loved most stayed the same: taking something that feels complicated or overwhelming and making it practical, relatable, and maybe even a little fun.
As AI began changing how we work, I found myself asking different questions than many of the conversations I was hearing. Not just, “What can this technology do?” but “Where should we use it? Where shouldn’t we? And how do we make sure we don’t lose what makes our work—and ourselves—distinctly human?”
That curiosity has taken me from local workshops to national conference stages and global audiences. And it’s still what drives my speaking today: helping people understand what’s changing, decide what matters, and confidently make their next move.
Great strategies don’t usually fail because the ideas are bad. They fail somewhere between the plan and actually making it happen.
In this practical, engaging keynote, Maliha Khan explores the “messy middle”—the space between strategy and execution where priorities compete, teams get disconnected, processes break down, and technology can create as much complexity as it solves.
Drawing on more than 15 years of experience across strategy, marketing, technology, and operations, Maliha challenges audiences to look beyond the plan and examine how people, processes, technology, and strategy work together. Attendees will leave with a clearer way to identify where execution gets stuck, ask better questions, and turn big-picture thinking into meaningful action.
Because having a strategy is only the beginning. The real work is connecting the dots to make it happen.
AI can help you write faster, think through ideas, analyze information, and make decisions. But as these tools become part of how we work and lead, there’s a bigger question: How do you use AI without letting it dilute what makes you distinctly you?
In this thought-provoking keynote, Maliha Khan explores what it means to develop and protect your leadership signature in the age of AI. Through stories, practical examples, and a human-centered approach to technology, she challenges leaders to think intentionally about where AI belongs in their work—and where their own judgment, perspective, experience, and voice need to remain firmly in the driver’s seat.
Attendees will leave thinking differently about their relationship with AI, with a clearer understanding of how to use these tools to enhance how they lead rather than define it for them.
The future of leadership isn’t about competing with AI. It’s about knowing what should never be outsourced to it.
AI can help you move faster, generate ideas, and get more done—but somewhere along the way, it can also start making everything sound, look, and feel the same.
In this engaging, practical keynote, Maliha Khan challenges audiences to take the wheel and decide where AI belongs in their work rather than letting the technology make that decision for them. She explores how to use AI intentionally while protecting the voice, perspective, creativity, and human judgment that make your work distinctly yours.
Through relatable examples and practical strategies, attendees will learn how to recognize when AI is enhancing their work versus overtaking it, determine what should remain human-led, and build a healthier relationship with the technology.
AI can help you get where you’re going, but you're still in the driver seat.
What happens when the person you’re becoming no longer fits the expectations you’ve inherited?
In this candid, story-driven keynote, Maliha Khan explores the messy middle between who we’re told to be and who we choose to become. Beginning with the story of her own birth—when sweets traditionally reserved for celebrating the birth of a boy were never handed out—Maliha traces the expectations, contradictions, and “too much” moments that shaped her journey as a Pakistani-American woman, entrepreneur, mother, and leader.
With humor, honesty, and a healthy dose of audacity, she challenges audiences to examine the rules they’ve inherited, stop shrinking to fit other people’s expectations, and define success on their own terms.
Because sometimes audacity isn’t about being fearless. It’s simply deciding you’re no longer going to ask permission to be fully yourself.
Move beyond experimenting with AI and learn how to put it to work with greater purpose. This practical one-day seminar will show you where AI can save time, improve your work, and reduce friction—without handing over your judgment, voice, or control.
