Well-run events, digital media, hand-made art, romantasy genre books, stories with heart, teams with inclusion, empowering women. Animal lover!
Driven by a passion for connecting brands with their audiences, Lisa is dedicated to exploring the latest trends in digital marketing and social media. She firmly believes that effective marketing not only drives sales but also fosters genuine relationships between brands and consumers. Her commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in the fast-paced marketing world reflects her desire to empower others through knowledge and innovative strategies.
In 2012, I got hired on a beach to run a marketing department. I was a nascent marketer with no idea what I was in for. That gig turned into leading a cybersecurity recruiting teams' marketing operations for nearly ten years, while building a world-class, multimillion dollar brand. So many lessons were learned in the line of fire, but then in 2020, I went to grad school to fill in the gaps. I love this story because I called my shot, took it, and then made the basket.
"What are people getting paid to do on Facebook?"
This question prompted a career pivot at 30 into digital marketing. I loved the idea of working in marketing, but had no idea how to specialize. Fast forward 10 (or so) years, and I have now had the opportunity to lead marketing teams and campaigns through so many exciting campaigns and mediums. From live conferences, to webinars, or website design, email marketing, SEO, keyword planning and more - I love nerding out on marketing projects! Those early experiences fueled her ambition to become a thought leader in the marketing space, ultimately leading to my current role as Marketing Director.
The question is no longer what we can do with AI-tools, but how much. Among so many tools and platforms, it can feel like the blind leading the deaf and dumb - if you don't have a plan. Dirigible digital marketing is all about learning how to steer the ship and not get blown out to sea. The sinkhole of costs, implementation challenges, and adoption issues can leave marketing teams answering for a lot of spend, without many results. As a Digital Marketing Consultant, Lisa Saurs can help demystify your marketing strategy and suggest the types of tools to get - and the tools to skip, for AI optimization. These tools aren't going to replace smart marketers; they will be used by them!
