Biography

Laura Regus-Rabbani is the Founder of Tiny Ripples Consulting, where she partners with organizations to create thoughtful engagement strategies that strengthen recognition, belonging, participation, and meaningful human connection.

With more than 15 years of professional experience spanning investment banking, finance, strategy, employee experience, engagement, and organizational development, Laura brings a practical and deeply human-centered lens to conversations about workplace culture and community experience. She holds an MBA from Northeastern University and is PMP certified, and her background includes leading employee volunteering, giving, recognition, engagement, and cross-functional initiatives designed to help people feel seen, valued, connected, and motivated to participate.

Laura speaks about meaningful engagement, employee and community experience, recognition that feels authentic, belonging, listening-first culture design, and the small intentional actions that create lasting impact over time. Her work is grounded in the belief that engagement is not built through one-time campaigns or performative initiatives, but through consistent experiences designed with people in mind.

Through Tiny Ripples Consulting, Laura works alongside organizations, nonprofits, leadership teams, and community-centered groups that want to move from disconnected or reactive engagement efforts toward more sustainable, practical strategies that people genuinely want to be part of. Her approach blends empathy, strategy, and implementation, helping audiences understand not only why human connection matters but how to design engagement in ways that work in practice.

Origin Story

Laura Regus-Rabbani built Tiny Ripples Consulting on something she'd watched play out again and again throughout her career: the moments that shape how people experience an organization are not always the biggest ones.

Sometimes they are the small things.

A manager who consistently checks in. A recognition moment that makes someone feel truly seen. A leader who follows through. A volunteer opportunity that helps someone feel connected to purpose.

Laura began her career in investment banking and finance. In 2017, she was looking to pivot into employee experience when a hiring manager named Omari saw something in her that went beyond her resume. He gave her a chance most candidates without the "traditional" background wouldn't get, and that decision changed the direction of her career.
She spent the next several years leading recognition, volunteering, giving, and engagement initiatives, the work that taught her people thrive when they feel welcomed, valued, included, and connected to something larger than their daily responsibilities.

After more than 15 years building that experience across finance, strategy, and employee experience work, Laura made the decision to step outside the corporate structure and build something of her own. She no longer wanted to create impact inside a single organization. She wanted to bring her experience, values, and human-centered approach to a broader range of organizations and communities.

Tiny Ripples Consulting was built on the belief that small, intentional actions create meaningful and lasting impact over time. Not overnight. Not through one grand gesture. But ripple by ripple, through thoughtful strategy, practical implementation, and experiences designed for real people.
