Biography

Karen Gunther is the founder of Stay Visible Marketing and a Marketing, AI & Automation Strategist who helps B2B companies uncover what is really happening across their marketing, sales, CRM, data, and business processes.

Her work goes beyond traditional marketing audits. Karen looks at how the pieces work together, where opportunities are being missed, and what is creating unnecessary friction or risk. She helps companies move past surface-level metrics and disconnected tactics to understand what is working, what is not, and what should happen next.

Karen speaks on marketing visibility, sales and marketing alignment, CRM and data use, practical AI adoption, and turning business assessments into clear 30/60/90-day action plans.

Her approach is practical, direct, and built for organizations that need useful answers they can actually act on.

Passion

I love helping companies see what they cannot see from inside their own business.

The most interesting work for me happens where marketing, sales, technology, data, and operations overlap. A website problem may really be a positioning problem. A lead-generation problem may actually be a follow-up problem. An AI opportunity may first require a better process.

I enjoy finding those connections, simplifying the complexity, and helping people leave with a clear idea of what to do next.

Best Story

Some of my favorite stories begin with a company convinced it has a marketing problem. Once we start looking across the entire business, the real issue is often somewhere else: sales follow-up, CRM adoption, missing data, an unclear customer experience, or disconnected systems.

I enjoy sharing those moments when the problem everyone thought they had turns out not to be the real problem at all, and what changed once the business started looking at the whole picture.

Origin Story

Stay Visible Marketing grew out of seeing the same pattern repeatedly: companies were doing plenty of marketing, but the individual pieces were often disconnected from sales, data, technology, and the actual needs of the business.

My work gradually became less about simply executing marketing tactics and more about understanding the entire system. What is the customer seeing? What happens to a lead after it comes in? Is the CRM actually being used? Can anyone connect activity to business results? Where could automation or AI remove friction?

That broader view became the foundation of how I work today: identify the gaps, connect the pieces, and turn what we learn into a practical plan the company can execute.

AI is moving fast, but most companies do not need more tools. They need a clearer way to decide where AI and automation can actually improve the business.

This session gives business leaders a practical framework for identifying where AI makes sense, where it does not, and what needs to be fixed first before adding technology.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Identify repetitive work, bottlenecks, and handoff problems that may be good candidates for AI or automation

  • Recognize when poor data, unclear ownership, or undocumented processes need attention first

  • Separate useful business applications from AI hype and unnecessary tools

  • Understand where human judgment, review, and accountability still matter

  • Prioritize AI opportunities based on business value, effort, risk, and readiness

  • Build a short list of practical next steps instead of chasing every new platform

Designed for business owners, executives, sales leaders, marketing managers, and operations leaders at small and mid-sized B2B companies that want to use AI more strategically and practically.

The Gap Between Marketing and Sales: Where Leads Get Lost and What to Fix First

Many companies invest in marketing to generate leads, but the real breakdown happens after those leads arrive.
