The Hidden Influencer: Succeeding as a Latina QA Leader in Technology:
While at the height of my career, I experienced the 'great downward spiral'. I share my story of resilience climbing the ladder experiencing and all of the tribulations to get there. To then finding myself for the first time, trying to figure out what went wrong. Why was my role changing. Did I do something wrong, did I fail my objectives. Coming full circle to realize that I had in deep accomplished was was put in front of me, and that I simply needed to find another challenging position within the organization . This led to my first pivot in my career, which has driven me to propel forward in a way I could have never imagined. My stories of being triumphant, of being the 'only' in many spaces, of carving out a space and elevating my voice while at the same time influencing leaders above me and below me.
I am an Afro-Latina, who has spent the last 30+ years very specifically in the Technology (Quality Assurance), being an influencer and a leader. I was born in Puerto Rico, Boston-raised from Dominican parents. I come from a loving family of entrepreneurs, both parents and siblings and children.
