CarrieAnne Cormier is a financial services executive by trade, marketing and social nerd at heart, and proud self-proclaimed Smartypants.

With more than 20 years of experience in community banking and credit unions, CarrieAnne has led everything from retail banking and digital transformation to marketing, IT, learning & development and organizational strategy. As a former Chief Operating Officer and retail banking executive, she has helped financial institutions navigate large-scale technology conversions, organizational change, customer experience initiatives and digital innovation while building cultures that embrace progress instead of fearing it.

Today, CarrieAnne is the founder of BankSmart Studio and host of The Carrie Show, where she helps banking leaders make sense of the fast-changing intersection of AI, marketing, leadership, personal branding and consumer behavior. Known online as BankSmartCarrie, she brings equal parts executive experience, curiosity, humor and practical advice to every stage she steps onto. Her sessions are packed with real-world stories, fresh ideas, and actionable takeaways—not corporate buzzwords.
