Ali Carson helps high-achieving women see what's actually getting in their own way, whether that's burnout, blind spots, or a definition of balance that was never theirs to begin with. As Founder and CEO of Movere Coaching and a two-time #1 international best-selling author, she brings a strengths-based approach grounded in neuroscience, backed by credentials as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Global Listening Intelligence Certified Coach, and ACC through the ICF, plus an MBA. Ali is known for asking the questions that cut straight to what's actually going on, and for turning insight into momentum instead of just another framework. She built her practice after more than twenty years leading talent development in nonprofit health care and professional services.
What drives Ali is her unwavering belief that everyone deserves to thrive in their professional environments. She is dedicated to creating spaces where leaders can foster trust, collaboration, and accountability, ultimately enabling teams to perform at their best and achieve meaningful results.
As a kid, I dreamed of being an interpreter in foreign negotiations, traveling the world and meeting exciting people. I also loved being in front of people, from childhood theater to cheerleading, sports, and marching band. But I never wanted to perform for a living. I wanted to add value and expertise.
Training and development turned out to be the answer. It combined a natural aptitude for leadership with a real love of helping people grow. My favorite moment, still, is watching the light bulb go off for someone, that instant I can see an insight land that will change how they move forward.
For years, that work lived inside other people's organizations, in health care, then at a law firm. Then life intervened. I hit real burnout, and around the same time, I lost both my father and mother within eighteen months. Two losses that close together do something to how you see time. It stripped away every reason I'd been telling myself to stay comfortable and made one thing abundantly clear: life is too short to be anything but blissfully happy, and I wasn't. It was on me to make a change.
That's why I started Movere Coaching. It's also why I still chase that light bulb moment every single day, because I know exactly how short the runway is, and I want to make the most of it.
We don’t have a communication problem—we have a listening problem.
In fast-moving workplaces, teams are talking more than ever—yet trust, alignment, and execution continue to break down. The root issue is often not how we communicate, but how we listen.
In this interactive session, participants will explore the hidden costs of poor listening and be introduced to Listening Intelligence (LQ™), a practical framework for understanding how people interpret information differently. Through real-world examples and guided reflection, participants will identify the four primary listening habits, examine how those habits shape team dynamics, and learn simple strategies to adapt their listening in real time.
Participants will leave with a clear, actionable approach to improving communication, strengthening collaboration, and driving better outcomes across their teams.
Learning Objectives:
· Recognize the hidden costs of poor listening in the workplace.
· Define Listening Intelligence (LQ™) and its role in effective team communication.
· Identify the four primary listening habits and their impact on trust and collaboration.
· Apply simple strategies to improve listening and strengthen team effectiveness.
In this interactive session, participants will explore their CliftonStrengths Top 5 and build a clearer understanding of how their natural talents shape the way they work and lead. Through guided reflection and discussion, they will connect their strengths to real workplace scenarios, including customer interactions and cross-team collaboration. Participants will also identify practical ways to apply their strengths more intentionally in their roles and within their mentoring experience.
Learning objectives:
· Describe the core principles of CliftonStrengths, including the difference between talent, skill, and strength.
· Analyze how their Top 5 strengths show up in key workplace situations such as customer interactions and collaboration.
· Apply their strengths to a specific work or leadership scenario to improve effectiveness.

In today’s fast-paced environment, leaders are constantly navigating competing priorities, urgent demands, and limited time. This interactive 90-minute session introduces practical, brain-based tools drawn from Getting Things Done, the Eisenhower Matrix, and the Pomodoro Method to help you boost focus, prioritize effectively, and manage time with intention. You’ll also learn a simple yet powerful approach to delegation—one that helps you determine what to delegate, who to delegate to, and how to set the right level of support. Through guided exercises and discussion, you’ll gain clarity on your biggest productivity blockers and walk away with concrete tools to lead with more focus, intention, and impact.
